The Marine Corps Marathon (MCM) is one of the most iconic running events in the United States, managed by the U.S. Marines in Arlington, VA and the nation’s capital, Washington D.C. Known as “The People’s Marathon,” it holds the distinction of being the largest marathon in the world that doesn’t offer prize money, making it a truly community-driven event. It is currently the third largest marathon in the United States.
