DC Design Week returns October 1–7, 2026 with a curated week of programs, conversations, and workshops that champion design as a tool for connection, learning, and impact. Presented by AIGA DC, the week brings together designers, creative professionals, students, studios, institutions, and community partners to explore how design shapes culture and community across the city. Past events have included portfolio reviews, studio screenings, creative talks, field trips, and closing receptions  offering something for seasoned professionals and curious newcomers alike. Proceeds from DC Design Week help sustain the AIGA DC Design Continuum Fund, a scholarship supporting students pursuing careers in design and creative fields across the DMV.
